Squash elixir is a murky yellow (golden without the sheen) that works as a warm earthy neutral. Applied the slick smooth surfaces is doesn't satisfy the viewers expectations that this yellow connotes durability as well. Textured application - fabric, brickwork, etc. Is most suitable.

Behold the palette of color trends for this year. Each to be applied to to the surfaces of the world in all forms - fashion, print, digital, environmental etc. This palette doesn't necessarily work together. Each color has its own place in the world and it's own related compliments. I'll be exploring them throughout the year.
