The Least Sketchy Staircase Design

Parking lots are notoriously creepy. And I wanted to shed light on this example in Brookine that does a great job of making stair navigation magnificently less creepy. The straight stair design with an exterior screen eliminates the clandestine nature of the typical stacked stair one would see in a parking garage.

The perforated screen provides an additional level of safety by reducing visual and acoustic barriers. Good design like this is safe, easy to use and looks good too.
